libmpdec2 software package provides library for decimal floating point arithmetic (runtime library), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmpdec2
libmpdec2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmpdec2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmpdec2 *
You will get with libmpdec2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
